The HP 8440P is a great business class unit with its maximum 4GB of RAM, as well as a 500GB [R-slider id=”1″] hard drive installed. There are 3 USB 2.0 ports on the left but also a PCMCIA slot into which you can easily add a USB 3.0 express card. Another great feature is the eSata port on the right side next to the Gigabit ethernet port. I’ve been able to plug in an external hard drive in the eSata port to do clone backups of my current OS configuration.
